Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the public health issues requiring serious attention, particularly in urban areas with high population densities. Low public awareness of the early symptoms of TB, coupled with the stigma surrounding those affected, often leads to delays in detection and treatment. This situation is also evident among residents of Kelapa Indah Village, Tangerang City, where some residents do not yet understand the signs, symptoms, and importance of early TB screening. This community service initiative aims to improve understanding and promote early TB detection through a community-based mentoring approach. The methods used included health counseling, education on symptoms and prevention, and support for initial screening of 50 community participants. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests to measure participants’ knowledge gains. The results of the activity showed an increase in community knowledge, with the average understanding score rising from 58% before the activity to 85% after the activity. Additionally, approximately 70% of participants were able to correctly identify early TB symptoms, and 65% expressed a willingness to undergo early screening at health facilities. The community also became more open to discussion and demonstrated a more positive attitude toward prevention and treatment. The support provided helped reduce stigma and increase collective community awareness.
